This is a 12-hour course delivered over 6 classes in a 7-week period to both beginners and improvers. Students will learn about clay, basic wheel throwing skills, turning, handle making as well as additional making techniques in the case of improvers. Five sessions will be focused on making. The sixth and final session will take place two weeks after the fifth session to allow for firing in the meantime. Students will glaze their fired pots during the last session. The course includes all materials as well as up to 3 finished glazed items made during the course.
